Kampala, Uganda — Uganda’s Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, and her husband, Eng Moses Magogo, have celebrated the first birthday of their beloved twins, Waiswa and Tenywa Magogo.
The couple marked the occasion with a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), where Among wrote, “Happy birthday to our beloved sons, Waiswa and Tenywa Magogo!”
She added: “May Allah bless you both with long, healthy, and prosperous lives. Lots of love from Mum and Dad.”
The post was met with an outpouring of warm wishes from well-wishers across the nation.
This celebration comes just months after the couple introduced their twins to Pope Francis during a special visit to the Vatican.
The unveiling marked the first public appearance of the children, with the Pope offering a blessing, a gesture of great spiritual significance for the family.
Among, a key figure in Ugandan politics, and Magogo, president of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), had kept the birth of their twins private until the Vatican visit.
