Okay let's explore the checking balance USSD Codes . both MTN & Airtel uses *131# , so this will display your available data bundles left, number of SMS available and other Airtime Balance or Extra Balance you have. MTN calls it extraTime while Airtel similar service is called Beerako. How to borrow MTN extraTime , you dial *146# , but if you already have unsettled balance, you will see options 1 for Balance, Options 2 for status and Options 3 for History. okay sometimes you may dial *146# and they will tell you, your not yet eligible to get extraTime, so it may means that your Sim card is still new or your not frequently buying data, Airtime or even sending Money . But anyway all these differs for all customers according to their own geographic Territories mapped by these telecommunication companies. Okay how to settle MTN ExtraTime fees, it's deducted automatically from the available Airtime Balance loaded.
