PRIME MURDER SUSPECT OF NDIGA LEARDER ASK COURT TO RELEASE FOUR CO-ACCUSED SUSPECTS
The self confessed key murder suspect of the Ndiga clan leader has asked the court to release 4co-accused saying they are"innocent"On Thursday, Lujja Bbosa Tabula, who has since admitted to the murder of Eng Daniel Bbosa, told court presided by Mwanga II Magistrate Adam Byaruhunga that authorities should only keep him and his nephew Noah Lujja in castody. The four suspects who Tabula seek to be released are;Harriet Nakiguli, 40yrsJoseph Nakabale 47yrsEzra Mayanja 44yrs and the Buganda Kingdom's 46yrs old tradition court clerk Milly NaluwendaTabula says these are just his relatives who do not know anything so it is not right and fair to keep them on remand yet he is ready to carry his cross. But prosecution led by Caroline Mpumwire objected, reasoning that they are about to commit the accused to High Court for trials. Caroline further told the court that the suspects were due for committal on Thursday, but new evidence was brought up, thus need to update the indictment.
